Metal Foundry-Eleven Rack mix test

Thanks guys. Yeah the tone itself is pretty scooped, and I should probably bring the guitars up a db or two.

Bring the guitars up quite a bit, and lower the volume of the cymbals, there's a hell of a lot of potential there though, and gotta agree with everyone on the riffing, its damn gewd.

sounds killer Mike!

I really dig the tone here, and your playing is fucking fantastically tight lol

I can't get passed the samples; they mess with my ears and I keep thinking something's wrong with my speakers. I'll have to try again at home with my phones. guitars sound like they'd be pretty cool though.

if you don't mind me asking - what are you going for with the samples?

Sounds really tight and good, but I agree on the scooped part. It's also kinda bass-heavy. Is that your choice or the default sound of Eleven?

Good riffing and all. More please! It's very hard to find sound samples from the Eleven and I'm interested in that machine.

hahaha - I think all the bass frequencies were messing up my laptop speakers earlier today, made it sound like messed up samples were going on. sounds good through my phones, although a bit bassy! sometimes it's good to play a mix through shitty speakers to see what's kinda outta whack. in this case, if peeps do listen to your stuff on shitty headphones/speakers, it's gonna mess with their perception. something to think about.

Hey Rear thanks bud.

Dude the eleven rack does sound pretty sick!

Yes it does.

No it doesnt sound like that by default, Im using the 11R graphic EQ to boost to low end. This thing gives you the tools to sound any way you want to sound.

I listened to it through shitty laptop speakers and it sounded fine. IDK.

I would get rid of some of the lows as well. I guess you're just compensating for not having bass.

Riffs are cool, no doubt. I would get some more mids back in, but it's the same thing everyone has said.

The tone is good. It is not bad, it is not great, but it does its thing well.

dont know , reminds me of good ol dimebag sound, not really what i like about guitar tone but i think for thrash stuff it could be useful.
all samples i heard from the eleven rack were more or less low gain, so its cool to hear how this thing works with more gain - so thanks for that! .

does the eleven have a ts emulation ? if so, could you post a sample?

New one is too treble-y and still not enough mids. It's not chunking enough, give 'er more mids and she will.
