Metal in Manchester, UK

Hey could anyone please recommend any good places to go in Manchester, UK ?

Life brought me here for the next months and I can't find any decent place to go except for Grand Central, where the sound volume is low though and it closes up way too early for my taste.

Is there somewhere a bar that plays music such as Maiden, Priest, Blind Guardian, Black Sabbath, or even Slayer, Kreator, Sodom, Destruction, Megadeth...? Or even Candlemass, Doomsword, Manilla Road? Or even Moonspell, Samael, Arcturus etc?

I have an old school taste which varies a bit within the old school metal itself.

I'll be studying at Oxford over the summer in July. I've been wondering the same thing about venues in London and the area. Haven't found much yet.

I mean, its London, there must be something to suit your taste.

yeah, I've found a few venues that host metal shows regularly, just nothing interesting announced for July.
