This is a track from my band's brand new un-released EP recorded at Big Blue Meenie studios in NJ. It was recorded entirely in analog onto 2" tape so we basically tracked every instrument track in one take, which I am pretty proud of. Drums are made up completely of the drummer's actual kit. No Slate samples or any samples other than ones obtained from the actual kit itself. We wanted a recording that was representative of our live sound as much as possible so we tried to avoid the use of any studio trickery as much as possible. I haven't seen many tracks on here that don't use Slate samples or that avoided the use of digital equipment (for the most part) so I thought this would be interesting to post.
