I used to run a radio station based on a shuffle of my music on this computer... but nowadays I just listen to a shuffle based on the music on this computer... about 15,000 songs... it keeps it pretty well rounded.

RaptureRadio isn't too bad either, although its been years since I've listened.

they have a forum as well on the UM board.

Metal radio doesn't work for me that well because just hearing one song off an album isn't as good in most cases as the whole thing. i guess it could work for old classic band and certain genres but full albums are just sooo much better.
