Metal=rebellion?

I have no idea what you mean.

If you mean people like metal to be rebelious then I would say in a lot of cases that is true.

I like it simply because the music is good though.

As for the genre being a rebellion... I dont think so... its just another means of showing emotion and opinion...

I think punk was more a rebelious music, being against selling records and comercialism...

Which reminds me of Black Metal, the Norwegian type, being a rebelian against Death Metal getting popular, and trying to make a more extreme music than DM. Thus why all the extreme violent acts happened in the early 90's...

i like different genres of metal for different reasons...like

black metal becuz its fast and raw...sometimes melodic to get ya swinging...ha ha...and thats to listen to when i'm in a good mood or angry...

death metal when i'm bored and wanna hear heavy instruments and more bass...

doom when i want to hear the beautiful side of metal...or the more well written things in metal...i listen to doom to calm me...or to sooth me...its just so melancholy to fit my mood...DOOM IS MY FAVORITE...

and other metal just becuz it makes me bang my head
