Metal Songs/Bands with Awesome Choruses

Pretty self explanatory.

I'm not looking for arena rock or anything, just heavy songs that still manage to capture that sort crowd-fist-pumping-and-singing-along vibe

Not heavy per se, but if you can tolerate depressing rock go with Katatonia. Not fist pumping either. I honestly can't think of much that I know like you described. But Katatonia on everything after Brave Murder Day have always been good at toned down quieter verses and really BIG choruses.

This. I saw BG in London (and at Wacken last year, oh yeah) but in London the crowd kept singing the chorus to Valhalla for 5 minutes after the song had ended. HAnsi had to tell us to shut up or they'd miss their flight Most awesome crowd experience for me so far...
