Metalcore mix

Pretty happy with how this turned out! Spent the whole day recording and mixing two songs for this band. Maybe my ears are tired haha. Looking for opinions and happy to share any recording details anyone's interested in.

Also, yes I know the bass drops are distorting. haha

Thanks! Kick is 100% sample. It's a blend I made of the drummers kick, slate, and a few other kicks I recorded. Snare is about 40% natural, 60% sample. The sample was a blend of his snare, slate, and some other snares I recorded. I also automated the volume of a slate room sample up and down throughout the song. I think his kit was a pacific. Snare was really ringing but pretty cool. I liked it.
