Metalfest is coming to the UK September 2009. It will take place over 3 days at JBs in Dudley - 25 to 27 September!
Bands confirmed so far are:

Threshold
Xandria
Omnium Gatherum
Holy Moses
Northland
Warpath
Invey
Pythia
and at least 14 more bands to be confirmed over the coming weeks!!!

How big is the venue?

Woah, cool, near Birmingham? Sweet!

Money concerns will probably keep me from attending -- although I'd like to see Omnium Gatherum, Threshold and StS -- but a friend of mine lives in Stafford, not too far from B'Ham, and I could possibly stay at her fabled abode.
Very curious to see the rest of the lineup!

Plus, there's that big amusement park (Alton Towers? I think) in Staffs.... I was sooo close the last time I was there, and couldn't quite get there.
