MAN, those guy still know how to put on one hell of a show. I know most of you hate them with a passion, but I can't help but love everything previous to the Load albums. Thankfully they played alot of that too. The setlist was:

Battery
Master of Puppets
Harvester of Sorrow
Welcome Home (Sanitarium)
For Whom The Bell Tolls
Frantic
Sad But True
St. Anger
No Remorse
Seek and Destroy
Blackened
Fuel
Nothing Else Matters
Creeping Death
One
Enter Sandman

Oh...and I got one of James' pics too. :)

lol! you tried linking a picture off of your hard drive!!1! HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA

Im sorry thats still the funniest thing a n00b can do to prove his n00bness :p

EDIT: Haha, ok you caught it in time.

I saw a live perfeormance of them playing in Germany on mtv recently, strangely enough, and they were excellent. Played nothing but pre-Load stuff (as well as those two St. NAMBLA songs...). Wouldn't mind seeing them live again.

Man, I went to see them one week ago, last Saturday, August 2nd in Houston...and they FUCKING kicked everyone's asses.

Linkin Crap and limp bizshit were horrible, Mudvayne were mediocre (which is more than I expected out of them) and the Deftones were decent (but they are not a good live band, I won't go to any of their shows). But man......Metallica absolubtely kicked ass for 2 hours....same setlist as you posted.

Honestly, this was the best concert I have ever been to...and I have seen Opeth live.....Metallica absolubtely blew Opeth away. I know it might not seem like a fair comparison, but I don't care...and I'm not talking about the stage choreography and that shit, I mean it was pure raw energy and stage presence. Well, on second thought, the Opeth show was just as amazing, cause I got to meet the band and simply cause their material is far superior than Metallica's.

One of the good things about Metallica is that their
"old school" material is very anthemic....For whom the bell tolls, Seek and Destroy, Battery, Master of Puppets....so the whole stadium was singing along, it was fucking awesome. We even sang along to Kirk's Mater of Puppets solo.

Lars even tried to play the first riffs of Nothing Else Matters......and he absolubtely SUCKED. Even I can play those, and I'm an idiot when it comes to playing guitar....

But anyway, I'd gladly go see them again in the next Summer Sanitarium, even if they decide to take POD and Blink 182.
