Actually, in this case, he didn't even post an opinion: he pointed out that dozens of bands have done what Metallica has done... sheesh. He's absolutely right. Denying it makes you look like a petulant child. It's not his "point of view". It's a F A C T. That's it! He called ppl ignorant because a lot of ppl went nuts and called Metallica cash cows even more... I think it was completely called for to say what he did. But anyways, that's just my point of view, and his. I won't bother responding if your post is something like "n000000000000000000000000000000b" or whatever.

You'll have to forgive me, blind worship and blatant idiocy always bring out the beast in me; both exist in full effect here. You have to admit, it's pretty funny to see the incredible hypocrisy of so many opinions here.

Stun's sooooo dead-on. If Testament decided to release every single show they were to do this year for $10-$13 per show, how many people here would cry foul? I know, I know, someone will say it's different because Testament doesn't have more money than god already. But honestly, that's just not a valid argument. People can bitch and cry and moan all they want (this thread is proof) but a musician has every right to make a coupla' bucks off the releases of their shows. Hell, this is a GOOD thing. Forget about the fact that it's Metallica for one second.

If it goes well, more and more bands might be willing to give it a try (metal bands, I mean). How is that not a good thing?

No problem, your original post, & the bands you listed, you were just stating fact(not saying your into them)....and yes peoples opinions in here can be dissected throughly sometimes..........

Some people will say the more material a band puts out the better......some will say they are milking their fans outta more Money.....point taken....

It sounds like lealgized Bootlegging to me........depending on the quality of each show, that can decide the worth of it, but I can see people wanting good quality recording's of shows, previously un available, now that you've elaborated(more than your original post)........I can see your point, and agree if the quality is there..........
