Have you listened to all his Solo CD's? He is extremely melodic also, perhaps you should go listen to all his solo CD's then come back and say all he does is the same thing.....

Batio sucks as a song writer, but his endurance at top speeds is very
admirable. But thats it.

He's not ambidextrous, you too can practise to hammer-on and pull-off
with your none-preferred fretting hand.

He's not sloppy, but his phrasing is the same no matter what he plays,
and that to me equals no feel.

He did'nt invent the over-under thing (sounds SHITE) people have been doing that for decades.

He's not picking what he's playing at all. He's sliding a lot and picking
EVERYTHING...which sounds crap imo.
there's no clear precision there. No real control.
Reminds me of Andy Van Hatcher or what-ever he's called.
