Sure hes good technically, but he cheats.

He uses a sound dampener up near the nut to "hide" unwanted sounds. And he's a wanker in his video's, but he can still shred better than me so i respect him.

probably the cleanest fastest shredder out there, and im amazed everytime i watch one of his vids. but i prefer vai to him.

Fast yes, cleanest? Nah, chris broderick is one of many shredders who is cleaner than Batio, and doesn't need dampening to do it.
