Micing China Cymbals

Searched n couldn't find anything on micing China cymbals. Any tips? Finding a good (in phase) sound will take time either way, but having tips would definitely help.

I like using a 57 as a close mic and letting the drum overheads (usualy SDC) fill in the rest of the picture. I find that it gives good seperation if mic'd well too.

Move the mic to 2 or 3 different spots and record a snipet of each one, mark the spots on the floor as you go, pick the best one and work from there.
