How is everyone?

Yes, well, to get down to business: I need a new microphone. Mainly for micing up my amplifier for recording onto the computer. So, does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for decent mics?

Shure SM57 is the standard.

Not that I would know, I know better ways to record geetars.

Actually, that´s the one I´ve been recommended by others too. I guess I´ll give it a go soon.

Better ways to record? Do not say POD. Do NOT say friggin´ POD! Well, I guess I´ll have to go try that too, though, as it seems rather comfortable and hassle-free.
