Midi-Files

Hello everyone!
Does anyone know where I can find Midi-files to download? My Band and me want to write a medley, containing music of cool movies and tv-shows like knight rider, airwolf and so on. Many guitarparts, but also some Syntheziser-parts, and therefore we need the Midi-files. So just some simple melodies, not the whole arrangements and whatever.
Btw; I am using Reason as sound module and editing, But I don't have a masterkeyboard nor a midi-interface, so I need the files.
Can anyone help?

Find a VST compatible program, or track down noteworthy composer or something if you want to give making you're own a shot.

Otherwise I'd just do a search on google and see what you turn up. good luck.

But I found nothing! It's unbelieveable, the sites are down or the the files deleted! Is it illegal or sth. to have simple midi-files?

@hydrogrind: I don't use wav because I want to put my own sounds and do some editing, very easy with midi.

yeah... u can use it with recording your own songs, guitar, or anything with record it to your comp, and be .wav
i think the "sound" more cool than midi. And there's lots program to editing .wav

for example, cooleditpro, wavlab, etc.

You are right, but my idea is to edit the notes themselves, and to change the sounds, for example from Piano to strings or sth. else.

I say... first of all get Power Tab: http://powertab.guitarnetwork.org/

Go here: http://www.powertabs.net/pta.php?page=artist,130 download the songs you want.

From there you can edit them or whatever and export them as midi files from within Powertab.
