THIS IS A LETTER FROM TRACI OF AZ HARDCORE METAL IN RESPONSE TO MINDER BINDERS RIPPING HER OFF AT THE BENEFIT SHOW FOR DIME ON JANUARY 7TH, 2005.
"It is true unfortunately for the whole shit at Minder Binders, they agreed that we would only have to pay them the $650 which covered sound, security, door and the venue, then they decided to stop taking money from the door at 11:15pm and go count the money without any of us present (which they probably skimmed $$ off the top) and told me that the event required an additional 40% of the door to pay for extra security, it is bullshit because the security guard told me he was working that night for free....they ended up telling me that of the $1400 made at the door (that I am aware of) they were only going to give us $433 for the fund, I was so pissed off and Scott (the guy with the bad ass vest) talked to Jason the booking guy and got us $500 total, which was still bullshit, of $1400 they made $900 and we made $500 for the fund, I am going to be calling the New Times and asking them if they can publish an article on Minder Binders and Jason and hopefully he will get fired. I am very upset about the whole ordeal and if I had known, I would never had done it there. I suggest if you know any other promoters to tell them not to book with these criminals....Basically another thing that upset me was that their security and door people didn't show up until around 7:15pm, I was running door until then! The sound people didn't show until 6:45pm and the show started at 7:00pm (The sound was horrible for the first few songs because of it too) So let everyone in town know that these scams do this to all people who book there and I haven't spoke with anyone who has had a honest experience with them."
