Misery Signals - Controller

Look at my user name. I think you know what I think of them.

I'm searching for a guitar tone similar to this album, but I'm not getting that signature high end hiss from V30's. Anyone else suspecting GT75s?
Yeah, that tone is definitely something else. I know they used Framus amps on this album some.

Where did you read that? All I see in the videos are Rectifiers.

IIRC, Karl told me. But yeah, they used Rectifiers as well. I see three heads in that video. A 6505+, a Dual Rec, something else that sorta looks like a Dragon, and a Mesa Roadster.

The Dual Rec and the Dragon looking thing were both turned on during parts of the video.

I think they used Framus 4x12s on the album... not sure what amp...

They still use them live too with 5150/6505+ (I think)? some variation of a 5150 for both of them, anyways....

Have you guys heard of Crossbearer or Amia Venera Landscape? Definitely bands you wanna check out if you're Mis Sigs/7A7P fans.

Ryan uses two Framus cabs I believe, one 4x12 and one 2x12, with two 5150s. That might be outdated though. Haven't had a good look at his gear in a while.

I'm not sure about the other guitarist since he's new, but I know Stu used a Dual Rec live.

Yes, I am obsessed.

A dude here did a decent cover of A Certain Death about 6+ months ago roughly I think. He had a pretty good approximation of the tone with a pod and shared the patch.
Search that up.
