this was done with a Carvin dc800 (stock pups, gonna change for passive ASAP) into an axe-fx 2, into sonar 8.5 PE,

drum is sd2 with metal foundry kick,

synth are omnisphere mostly

bass is trilogy

It seems that you achieved good sound but you put everything in front, 'in face',synth could more distant with some reverb and guitars quieter.Maybe it's just something in master chain.

thanx for the tip! i will try to lower the guitar and add a bit of verb to the synth...

i'm feeling the kick might be too loud too... am i right??? (it depend on the system i'm listening with)

For my ear kick doesn't fit this mix,kick and snare need more smack.Upload just mix it's hard to guess what's going on.

I agree with WalhallaM. The drums could definitely use more power. I hear too much of the actual "snares" in the snare drum. I would choose a different kick sample too. Something a tiny bit more low ended and a tiny bit less click. The guitars are too loud imo. Cool song though.
