Hey man, the mix itself sounds pretty good, especially if you are new to this.
At times the snare gets hidden behind the guitar tone, Id suggest cutting the eq on the guitar a bit where the snare hits most prevalent.
Other then that its pretty solid
Reminds me alot of Volumes, especially at 1:20 and on

I appreciate the feedback! I do see what you mean about the snare, I'll see if I can't make it stick out a little more. The song doesn't have any bass guitar to it, so I'm going to have to go get me a bass. Haha
There is definitely some Volumes influence. They are one of my favorite bands ever since 'The Concept Of Dreaming'. Haha I read somewhere you can get the hang of mixing faster if you work with music that has a lot going on in it. Sort of a hit the ground running approach. Hopefully I can get a bass track on it soon, and find a vocalist to throw some vocals on it.
