I've been messing about for a while now, but only recently over the last few weeks I've decided to get serious about it...

So I've been downloading stems like a madman, and I hope I'm getting better...
Here's the most recent attempt at the Endeavours stems.

How long did you spend on vocal automation? I've played w that track before but I got tired of automating.

Not long actually... apart from general compression The break in the middle of the track with the filter involved a lot of envelopes though.. but that was mostly reverb and the filter you hear..

Haha The track grew on me actually, and now I'm constantly going back to the mix just to listen to it again

Pretty good. the only thing I really noticed was that the vocals drown out the guitar a bit. Maybe cut some mids in the vocals and lower it a couple dbs

Cheers, yeah I would definitely do that, I've become a lot better over the past couple months From mixing way too many stem track uploads I think vocals have become my weak point though.. which isn't good
