how do you guys feel about the guitar tone, it goes off for mastering today! over powering?

I wouldn't say overpowering - they sound evil and could come down a db or two, but I think the brightness/top end grind is a bit much for the vocals/drums. I'd personally opt for making those brighter vs dulling the guitars though.

Yeah the guitars are a bit too loud, like JeffTD said you could bring them down 1 or 2 dB, otherwise the mix sounds really good to my ears.

I just think the kick drum lacks a bit of low end to make those breakdowns more powerful, cause the toms seem to have much more bass than the kick. Guitars might be a bit too overpowering but it works, it's not masking anything else too much IMO.

did an attempt on mastering and i only think the toms could lose some weight somewhere so the limiter wont pump those lows in.
otherwise i think its a nice mix:Shedevil:

edit: sounds killer but i still got some pumping going even with slightly less limiting.

not sure if multiband helps here, but you gotta spike the toms through anyway.
sometimes sending the toms to a separate bus from the main drum bus helps me in that because you can fine tune em much better.
automating low frequencies when they hit constantly can also be a solution. but im not really sure if i would touch it now a nice manley should handle this any day.
