Hi everyone!

I just finished mixing this EP for a Spanish band called No Frequency (www.myspace.com/nofrequencyband)

I really like how the mix went in the end. Lots of bass and snare for a solid and punchy release! :D

How does it sound? Don't worry about changes, I can't do any right now, as I already sent it to duplication.

Cheers!:D

I love the toms! The snare is sounding a lot better than in your previous few mixes (I didn't realise it was you at first, cos of the name change, but there were a few elements that were really distinctive to you). There's something weird going on at 1 minute in, a weird edit.

Thanks guys!!

I agree on the guitars being a bit too quiet, but they weren't that great so I preferred to give the bass more protagonism in the mix :p

Toms are SD2.0 Avatar toms, hand replaced. (Tab to transient > paste MIDI note)
Snare is all Slate: Snare15Z1 + Snare8Z1 + Snare12AZ4. Mostly 12AZ4 (yeah, the reverb one...)

The bass was processed in POD Farm with my usual bass preset, of course tweaked a bit. (http://dl.dropbox.com/u/425433/Dandelium Bass.l6t)

Real drums are slate and avatar samples? :)

Song sounds great. Snare sounds like my head exploding every hit. I love it.

Badass work dude!:kickass: I actually like that clicky sound on the bass, sits nicely in the lows too, cool to see someone using the pod bass amps successfully.

Cool man! Good to hear another release from you.

On my end the balances are a little skewed - particularly in the low-end. The low-end doesn't quite feel 100% 'in check', and it loses punch and density as a result. The midrange is a bit scratchy - in particular the bass grit.

Otherwise though it's cool man, it's got a good vibe for it, and more than decent result for an EP! Congrats and best of luck to you and the band.
