Hi! This is my 2 or 3rd post so I'm sorry If I come across noobish.
I have a track that my band and I are recording and I'm having a hard time trying to mix correctly. I was hoping If you guys could give me a hand. To me It doesn't sound as clear as I want It to be, and I feel like nothing has its own space in the mix. I'm a huge fan of joey's productions and try to get my sound close to his with my own take on It. Could you guys help me out? Give me some info on what I should do and not do?

sound good to me,,,,, BUT ,,,, work on the snare sound. The snare sound is not fit right, I mean it's not sound blend with the song. And, boost some high freq. to give them some sonic to hit right in face and more clarity.

same as oz_golf told.
The Sound of the snare is good, but it fit not right.
Vocals sound good to me, like them.

It sounds like the kick drum and bass are just devouring the guitar lol The snare sounds like someone hitting a bucket with a stick :p Vocals sounds pretty good, just maybe turn them up a bit. Other than that, it actually does sound professional

synths too loud!! bring up them axes! ehh the kick sounds like poop, i would think about sample replacement, and turn down the cymbal on the left a bit its too loud after the chorus fo sho. cleans sound dull, EQ them puppies!

Could you guys give me any advice as to how I should EQ the guitars or drums or bass or even compression? I wold really like help on compression because I still feel like its not a big and tight enough sound.

TO me..... other instruments are fine.... guitars, you need to boost some high freq around 5000 - 8000. and also when you boost, you also have to curve out some other freq.
The snare, I don't what snare sound u used it. may be try curve out mid 300-400 and low 100 and boost 4000 and cut 12k-15K

and overall sound need some pump to hit right in face.

my two cents... change that snare sample immediately. kick is pretty good but deff could be better. i would make the hole kit kick a little harder though. the guitar and bass sounds great to me. a lot of low end without being muddy which is great. the vocals sound somewhat raw. eq, compress a lot more and put them through more effects. the production of this is phenomenal though.

Agree with the snare. Those guitars need to come up a good amount. Also, I think you could brighten them up a bit. Overall, it sounds pretty good.
