Mixing masterclass with CLA

what is he talking about at around 4:40? saying u cant hit play/stop or fast forward, and that pro tools cant "keep up". if u ask me, the space bar is just as easy to hit as those play and stop buttons on the console, am i wrong? or am i just misunderstanding what he's getting at?

He's just selling the SSL consoles to the new generation of retards loool. Basically as we all know DAWs playback are instant, where as old school consoles like the 4ks aren't and you can see the massive delay when he plays and stops LOL

yea its funny, he's hitting play and stop so fast that half the time the tape machine doesn't even get a chance to initialize...and he's still saying its faster than pro tools? ...we must be missing something, lol :loco:

Watch Sonicscoop power interview (episode 3 if I remember well)... He mention it;)

Make lot of sense since for him vocal and drum are most important elements.
Manny Marroquin mentioned this approach at Pensado place (carving element around vocal point)...

Would be good to ask whether he mostly uses the bass DI track for low-end, or whether he relies on the amp or any special 'tricks' to achieve his low-end.

I read somewhere that he reamps bass DI through a subwoofer and mics it up with his secret technique.
