I'm relatively new to recording; I started getting serious about a year ago. I've been practicing today with something quite simple.
Unfortunately, the instruments I have aren't so great. I find it really hard to get a good bass guitar tone with my Yamaha RBX-170 without a massive amount of tweaking with an EQ in Cubase. Though, it could just be my bad mixing skills.
So, I'm wondering whether you guys could give me some feedback on the mix and suggest any improvements that could be made.
