Monitor lifetime : 3 weeks - Congrats M-audio for the beautiful BX8A DELUXE

My brand new right M-audio BX8a Deluxe (up their ass with the deluxe) dropped dead this night.

A very nice prpfofopofpofofofifrfrfr noise during playback.
+ the woofer moves violently few centimeters fowards ans backwards when I switched it off.

I bought this 3 weeks ago. very reliable. hmmm.

I'll take those back to the retailer and get something else. yamaha HS80 I think.

Its not the first time I read about major fuck ups about M-audio monitors. if I were you guys I'll stay away from them. does not seem really reliable. another guy started a thread like mine.

Yeah man, the same thing happened to my housemate (http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/equipment/423061-one-my-roomates-bx8as-shit-bed.html), though fortunately he got his replaced under warranty and they've been good ever since! And I don't quite see how "Mahna Mahna" relates, but it cracked me up all the same

when I bought my bx8a's originally, I got home and one of them was dead. the exchanged pair is working great though..........

Haven't got a single bad word about them I bought mine last summer and still love 'em. I think these ones last me until I get a proper space, got enough customers and can justify spending $7500 for MM27's.
