Monty Pythons films got less funny as they got more clever

I also would place them in that order. But I'm not sure if the social commentary makes the films less funny. I mean, the anarcho syndicalist peasants of the Holy Grail is one of my favorite pieces of commedy ever!!!

Holy Grail is the best one out of the lot in my opinion....just because LoB has the "always look on the bright side of life" song in it....yuck.

i havent watched the meaning of live yet. but life of brian and holy grail are fucking hilarious. and i found life of brian dead clever too.
