What happened to the movies thread?

I did a forum search and didn't find it. Did it get deleted?

Anyhoo, I saw these over the last week:

White Noise - tense and interesting until the last 15-20 minutes when it just got silly. Kind of like Gothika in that regard, but enjoyable for a longer period of time. Didn't hate it as much as Gothika, but didn't love it either. Mediocre.

House of Flying Daggers - stunning cinematography and choreography, but the story gets a bit convoluted and ridiculous towards the end. If you looked at it as a parable, then it works, but not as a real story so much. Still, I'd recommend it to Martial Arts movie lovers, as it is enjoyable enough. Good, but not as good as Hero or Crouching Tiger. I'll probably get the DVD when it comes out.

In Good Company - it's like Garden State in the fact that it mixes poignant social commentary with comedy, but it does neither as effectively. It isn't as funny nor as poignant. Still, it does paint an accurate picture of Corporate America and how it dehumanizes people. I'd call it good, but not great. I enjoyed it, but likely won't buy the DVD.
