MOODY BLUES

I know they are not anywhere near metal, but I still love them. Last night at the Plaza Theater in downtown El Paso, which by the way is one hell of a concert venue, The Legendary Moody Blues took to the stage, and for the next 150 minutes amazed a sold out crowd with all their now famous tunes.

You Know, seeing them gives me hope, I hope that i look as good at age 64 as these guys did, and i hope i have their zest, spirit. To say they were amazing is an understatement. Their show was 150 minutes, playing i would guess 25 or more songs. The Highlight for me was "Ride My See-Saw" as this has to be my all time favorite tune by them.

If they are anywhere near you on this tour, do yourself a favor and go see them it is worth it, and take a journey to "The Threshold of a Dream"

I saw the Moody Blues in Milwaukee some 7-8 years ago. I think it was at Marcus Amphitheater. They blew everyone away. I loved the show.

They're not coming anywhere near Michigan, at least not yet. But I'd love to see them again. They remind me of warm summer nights.

<3 the Moody Blues. They are coming to Atlanta. I haven't looked at ticket prices. I'm guessing its $50 or more.

Can't say that I'd take in a Moody Blues show, but every time I hear "The Voice" I get shivers and a nostalgic feeling...It's been like that since I first heard it in the early 80's...

Love the Moody Blues! Who is still in the band? I heard John Lodge left? WTF?! Is Graehme Edge still playing drums? That guy is awesome! They are older than The Rolling Stones! Every time I hear the two songs "I Know You're Out There Somewhere" and " Wildest Dreams" it takes me back!

Ah, one of my favorite bands. John Lodge is still in the Moodies, as is Edge.

Ray Thomas left a couple years back. Besides the set changes due to losing his voice, there wasn't that huge of an impact. Now if Hayward or Lodge left - It'd probably be Moody Blues over

Justin Hayward has one of the best singing voices IMO. Just incredibly smooth and clean

Love the Moody Blues! Who is still in the band? I heard John Lodge left? WTF?! Is Graehme Edge still playing drums? That guy is awesome! They are older than The Rolling Stones! Every time I hear the two songs "I Know You're Out There Somewhere" and " Wildest Dreams" it takes me back!

Justin Hayward is still playing guitar and singing, John Lodge is still on bass and singing, Graeme Edge is still playing drums. So the core is still there, plus they have a second drummer, and a keyboard player, and two female backing vocalists, and one of them also plays guitar. Their sound is still there an they can still do all the classics. To say the least awesome in concert.

Vanden Plas does a lot of covers, maybe they should do a Moody's song. "Story In Your Eyes" is kind of a rocker, or maybe "The Question"...

You have more zest and spirit now than most 20- and 30-somethings I know, my friend! I can't imagine it will be any different in a decade (or so)

Huge Moody Blues fan here, although heavily partial to their classic 1967-1972 output and completely disregarding the 1990s pop fluff they put out.

If you're a fan and haven't already, check out the "Live from the Greek Theater" concert DVD and the excellent "Classic Artists" series documentary DVD.

I love the Moody Blues. Every summer they come out this way and do an outdoor show at FLPAC (I think that's the venue). I would love to go sit out under the stars and see their show (so I should put this on my "to do" list).

I was raised in a Moodies family. Im named after Justin Hayward. My parents have seen them 35+ times. Im a fan. I like Justins solo material as well...aka Songwriter and The Vew Form The Hill.

I'm a big Moody Blues fan too. I used to have a couple of their albums on cassette. I only have one on CD. I need to get more, and listen to them more.

We saw them at the Marcus Amphitheater in Milwaukee too, but I think it was more than 7 years ago.
