Yes I did seriously consider doing that but because I'm nearly finished my new album I'm not sure that it's worth the expense. I write my own stuff now and it's a lot different to my first album.

I'm playing a solo gig at Coogee Bay Hotel on Sunday evening if anyone lives nearby and doesn't have anything better to do! This is the site for info:

Seriously, I walked away impressed - I know how easy it is to fiddle with stuff in the studio to make an even shit sounding performance acceptable, but when you're standing there behind a digital piano with a mic, there's not a lot of places you can hide if you suck. I'm a picky bastard too and for me to be blown away is saying something! And believe me, I was blown away!

Folks, you owe it to yourselves to check this girl out if she's ever playing anywhere near you! Really impressive!

I won't be standing at the keyboard again though. It made life very difficult and I kept getting flash-backs of Howard Jones. I think that's who it is. It's some 80's guy looking very daggy anyway. All I was missing was the funny radio mic. I have been taking my seat at the piano since and things seem to go so much more smoothly now that I can see what I'm doing!!!!
