i think that a moonlapse vertigo is a sensation of feelings that one may get as the moon begins to fade away due to sunlight.

In a literal sense, I guess it means the dizziness or vertigo one gets due to a lack or lapse of the moon.

I think it's like, the moon disappears temporarily behind clouds and it's all dark and you go "Whoa, it's all dark!" and can't tell where you are for a second.
