Finnish pagan metallers Moonsorrow entered Tico-Tico studios on the 18th of November to record their new album entitled “Kivenkantaja”. They are planning to be finished by the 6th of December, and the album is set to be released through Spikefarm Records in March 2003.

“The Moonsorrow-sound will be carried quite a little further with this release. Or well, you'll hear,” reveals the official Moonsorrow website. A studio diary can also be found on the official website.

The total duration will probably top 50 minutes, and the tracklist goes as follows:

- Raunioilla (At the Ruins)
- Unohduksen Lapsi (Child of Oblivion)
- Jumalten Kaupunki including Tuhatvuotinen Perintö (City of the Gods including Legacy of a Thousand Years)
- Kivenkantaja (Stonebearer)
- Tuulen Tytär including Soturin Tie (Daughter of the Wind including The Way of a Warrior)
- Matkan Lopussa (At the Journey's End)

Moreover, "Raunioilla" is a three-part opus with "Askelmilla" (At the Footsteps) as a prologue, "Maailmalle" (To the World) as the main theme and "Raunioilla" (At the Ruins) as an epilogue.
