This totally needed it's own thread.

:kickass:

where is this happening?

Downtown Toronto, @ 'the Kathedral' on Queen and Bathurst, no? Very, very close to the DG/Woods HQ. :)

The Green Evening Requiem listens to Moonsorrow on the way to shows, while we drink, when loading the van, while our roomates are trying to sleep...pretty much whenever we're awake.
Hah! I like it! :kickass:

I love Moonsorrow's recorded work but I was really disappointed with their performance at the Heathen Crusade festival - the epic power if their albums didn't come through at all. Then again, this could just be because they had to follow the almighty Primordial....congrats on the gig BTW. I'm sure it will be fun.

awesooooome its all ages on my birthday. :D

they don't appear to have a site of their own, lol this is their label's site though.

Price I think mid Oct, I just need to get some shit worked out first, it will not be more then $20 though.

It had its moments, definitely, but the album as a whole was burdened by too much filler/weak ideas/riffs borrowed from earlier albums. "Baning of the Hounds", however, is excellent.

baying of the hounds** ;)

i feel bad because most of my opeth is downloaded..the only two albums i own are damnation and ghost reveries..:(

i LOVE morningrise though. its a classic..it has some of my favourite moments in music.
