Anyone on this forum ever heard of this band? I'm listening to their 'Voimasta ja Kunniasta' (Of Strength and Honour) album right now. I think it's great! Somehow it reminds me on Hypocrisy, but then more melodic and more sphere (Only a personal opinion) I even heard some acoustic riffs, wow! Even my dad said it sounds good

They're really good! I've got their Suden Uni (A Wolf's Dream), Voimasta ja Kunniasta (Of Strength and Honour) and Kivenkantaja (Stonebearer) cd's and they all are simply amazing! I strongly recommend this band to everyone. You can find their homepage here.

Yup, they rule indeed! I have the two demos Täma Ikuinen Talvi and Metsä and the albums Suden Uni and Voimasta Ja Kuniasta. I'm looking forward to the new one.

I think from the Voimasta album Sankarihauta is the best song. But if we're talkin' about viking-folk...Thyrfing is much better imho.

Moonsorrow is a fuckin great band! Amazing Music!!!!
Especially Voimasta Ja Kunniasta.
A friend told me about them a year ago. I was listening to Finntroll and he said: "if you like this you should try Moonsorrow"
