I can't believe I let prejudices of "meh I'm pretty sure this is shitty goth metal buuu :(" keep me from hearing this? What the shit? DISCUSS THIS ALBUM!

i enjoy moonspell once in a while :p and it's famous for the time I left my music on and went to school and the little children that were there (my aunt runs a daycare) were scared of my room :p

I really enjoy Moonspell, but can never convince myself to buy more of their albums. I have The Antidote, which owns, and I've seen them in concert, where everything they played owned, so I guess it's about time to branch out to their past work.

yeah, bands like this really make me dislike the concept of genres, because for the longest time I ignored this band... i've learned over time to ignore what genre it is, because i've found some true musical gold in genres that everyone says are crap (or that I totally hate). The only one that has yet to defy it's genre is nu-metal. But perhaps, someday, somewhere, something will prove me wrong that the nu-metal genre is the fecal matter of society.

Backstreet Boys > nu-metal.

The last two days I've listened to "Alma Mater" 18 or 19 times fyi

No, their other stuff is totally different... The only album that's in that folk metal style is Wolfheart, and the previous EP is kind of similar I guess... I don't hate some of the later stuff, but it doesn't really appeal to me enough that I would bother buying the albums

Yeah, I just listened to samples through century media, and it's definately different... almost in a bad way. It's not that it's bad (well, I'm listening to Second Skin and it's bad), but I don't like it.

Someone upload "Alma Mater"?

Apparently this is Black/Folk which, as we all know, I have a boner for.

"Second Skin" is an album it seems EVERYBODY hates... But ya, like so often, the main thing to bother with is the early stuff.
