Do you mean they aren't any good? I haven't tried them yet, but they're free...I know you can't judge a book by its cover (or a plugin by its gui) but they seem like decently high quality plugins.

I've had those for a long while. I use the compressor every once in a while, and it's okay. Dunno if these have been mentioned, I use this compressor too: http://www.kjaerhusaudio.com/classic-series.php

I'm a cheap bastard and use free plugins a lot, mainly because I don't know what to get yet.

I downloaded all of these a while back, but haven't even used them yet. I'm so minimal when it comes with effects, I usually just use built in Reaper stuff.

I remember d/l those a few months ago and as soon as I tried to open them up Reaper went haywire and kept freezing entirely. Tried them in Cubase, same thing.

Granted I'm only running a P4 2.4, but still.... never had that happen with anything else I've installed.

I don't like the Antress stuff either, apart from the Exciter which I always use on Overheads. But then I've never used any other exciter sooo.........

Ah, man, I'm a sucker for free stuff, even if it has a shit reputation. And even though I'll probably never really use these, I couldn't resist downloading them. They just look so cool. Dammit! I see a few wasted hours of life in my future.

there's maybe 2 decent compressors, and one pretty cool eq plugin, outta that whole bundle of free stuff...the analoger can be pretty cool as a light saturation type effect on a snare tho
