I haven't used any of them but everything I have read says that they look pretty but sound nothing like their hardware counterparts. That doesn't mean they don't work well though.

The only thing I find strange is wouldn't you need to obtain the actual hardware units to accurately model them? This guy must either have a mind boggling collection of analog recording gear or an equally great source to rent from.
