more musical goodness....

Normally, I would edit the link and embed the video in the forum to make it easy for folks. However, I disagree with the title of this thread so much that I shall make people work for it.

:lol::lol:

I was just about to post that I thought the thread title said something about goodness, yet I couldn't see it on the post. Glenn beat me to it. :lol:

Would you make the same statement for Tuomas Holopainen first video from the upcoming solo album? I doubt it. Even though he's channeling a very non-metal Enya.

I wouldn't because I enjoy the actual musical instrumentation involved. I'm a huge Enya fan as well as Clannad, Loreena, Iona, Secret Garden, etc.

Props for returning out of the blue to take a shot at me though. I've missed your sparkling personality. How is AARP life treating you? Told any kids to get off your lawn lately?

On a somewhat related note, I recently listened to Heavatar's debut album, which features on vox and guitars one of Van Canto's songwriters. I can now report that, sadly, Van Canto with real guitars is still kind of lame.

I think this whole thread has some of the most boring music I've ever seen on this board. It's like a race to the bottom or something. Quick, someone post clips from Anette Olzon's upcoming album.

I don't get the hate...they are doing something different. I guess people are afraid of different, but given the clientele on this forum you'd think that would not be the case.

Also that's Johanna Kurkela on the tuomas stuff...and she is awesome.

+1 for Annette Olzon's material...now THAT I will scoff at.
