more new AiC..

I saw them at sonisphere, they were great, and Will Duvall held Layne's duties quite well...I was amazed of course ( one of my fave bands)

Looking forward to this record

duvalls voice on all the live clips of recent gigs is amazing!! pitch perfect everytime!!

Some chick on another forum wrote about the Berlin show (I was attending), that she left with another couple after about an hour because she "couldn't be assed into a playback show".

William really stepped up his game recently, from really good to outright phenomenal.

A 2009 Alice in Chains record could be this generation’s Back in Black

like it
(thinking it's not that exaggerated )

Here's the full version of "Check My Brain," the first actual single apparently:

Killer song, reminds me of "Facelift" actually. This has got to be a Slate snare also.

"Acid Bubble" gave me chills . . . If the rest of the album is anything like the songs we've heard this is going to be my album of the year.

Mix and song are fucking amazing. Staub delivers again! Also proof how integral cantrell was in that band. Loved layne but this is a perfect comeback so far. This may end up being my favorite AIC record.

Bad ass song. Chorus guitar sounds more like Facelift AiC - which can only be a good thing. The detuning riff is fucking immense too, when I first heard it I was like "wtf is that?? hows he doing that?" picked the guitar up and it's the ald Iommi trick ;) lovely jubbly, sounds great. I like this about 10 times more than the first track.

One thing i'm missing so far is those high range bad arse acrobatic vocals from Layne. Hopefully the other songs will have some more rocky vocals.

Live he's doing it with bends...and I swear Eb standard tuning, no dropped C sharp ( he played it with the G&L, the same one he used for man in a box)

Fuck yes! At first I was skeptical but after hearing this stuff and watching some of the live vids I can't wait for this to hit iTunes!
