Was he attacked or did he do harm to himself ? I'm glad he got help....he will surely be on medication for the rest of his life, but he can have a grip on reality. Maybe Strato will get together again and all will continue, although I doubt it will happen. The man put himself out for the world to see the state he was in....he had no idea other than the living hell he was existing in. Well, maybe he might have enlightened some people who suffer from the condition (and were not aware of it) who otherwise would have just self-destructed. Let's hope some good comes of this.

well, my 2 cents on the issue is i am glad he finally realizes that even though he is the force behind the scenes with the songwriting and stuff, Kotipelto and the other members are what make the band special for the fans. I wish Tolkki all the best, and i hope he takes care of himself, but i am also glad that he has the strength to admit he is wrong. That isn't ment as an asshole statement. I think it honestly is great that he is well enough to the point that there is no bad stuff going on with him, or at least he is getting help for it.

What really deserves appreciation is, that Tolkki is very open and honest to his fans by posting his personal situation to a big crowd, although I still don't understand why everything was going this way. More or less every band changes its line-up over the years ('though not that drastically by hiring an obvious maniac like this "Miss K") and I don't think he should take it that personal.
Though I don't think, Stratovarius will be a big musical loss to the world, I hope Tolkki will get back to a normal life with a new band soon.

I'm glad the craziness surrounding him with the hiring of miss k seems now it was a temporary lunacy (i was interested to hear it for curiosities sake though) and he has seen it now for what it was and is trying to make ammends with kotipelto. Whether kotipelto wants anything to do with him now is another story but all shall see in time. it was big of him to come forward and explain himself, so good luck to him.

i get the impression from kotipelto's post on HIS website back in the midst of the whole thing that kotipelto was worried about timo's health and had no hard feelings against tolkki.
