Morningrise or MAYH??

I dunno your music taste, but i'd suggest "Morningrise" definitely!

If you really can't afford them both, I suggest Morningrise. But you say you like Still Life and BWP... have you got Orchid as well?

In that case, I definitely suggest you get Morningrise. That and Orchid are a different style from the other 3. You'll get a lot of people saying that Orchid and Morningrise are "pure" Opeth, but then a lot of people's favourite album is MAYH.

MAYH is my favourite Opeth album, but you don't have the "complete" Opeth experience without at least one of either Orchid/Morningrise, 'cause they had a distinctly different sound than the latter three albums.

Since you have SL and BWP, I'll say get Morningrise.

I'd say Morningrise just so you get the broader sense of Opeth. MAYH is much more similar to SL & BWP. Try something different.

I also like it more, but the reasoning above is still sound.

I've always said MAYH, and I still think it's the shit, but morningrise is really growing more and more on me.

Hell, get BOTH!!

I prefer MAYH but that's just me. Beg, borrow or steal in order to get Morningrise as soon as you can.
