Motorheadman, I was there at Donnington in 92' and I didn't join in as I was too far back but what I saw was brilliant, I'll never forget the ammount of the bottles of piss flying through the air into the crowds, I'll never forget the atmoshphere went flat as a pancake when Thunder came on, it was like the mother of all come downs
Yeah, after Slayer, I was sat in an old schoolmates tent getting shitfaced on scrumpy until Maiden came on. The only thing dumber than Thunder following Slayer I have seen, was 2 years later at Donington, we had the back to back double whammy of Sepultura followed by Pantera, who were followed by ..... wait for it ....... Extreme!
