The only band I like on that list is Opeth, and I'm not particularly interested in Damnation

I'm really looking foward to the new Iron Maiden, and (if it gets finished in time for this year, which the band are planning to) the new Bolt Thrower.

Damn, I forgot a few. Macabre - Murder Metal, which I would've voted for (I voted for Anthrax). Dahmer is my all-time favorite album, it's got everything. Murder Metal should be even better. I also forgot the new Iron Maiden, Goatwhore, Hate Plow and Soilwork - Full Figure Five, that's going to rule! Oh, and In Flames is coming out with a new EP.

I didn't know Amorphis had a new album coming out, but now that I do I might as well anticipate it.

I'm not expecting much of Amorphis for some reason...I'm looking forward to Damnation too but St. Anger it is,after all Metallica was my first metal band and I like all the studio albums that they've put out so far. I don't understand why Iced Earth's new one isn't in the poll though. The newBodom is great too! Although we had it here like 2 months ago.

Hey, it's a fun album, but I think you mean 'World Funeral'. And I agree wholeheartedly in that it's one of the best so far in 2003... It's really blown me away.

i dunno if you guys like nevermore, but they have a new one comming out in june i think, or july. im pretty anxious about that one. and yeah, im counting the days till the new my dying bride album. 2003 is a really good year for releases.

For me, "Damnation" is clearly my most anticipated CD!

However, I'm also looking forward to the new releases from:

So far, the Gathering's new CD is my fav of the year, followed very closely by Katatonia (which has grown on me immensely the past day or two!)

at first, i read somewhere it was a sort of am universum follow-up, and i was glad of it since i think on that album there are some really good ideas. then, when elegy as been mentioned too, i started to hotjump!! :hotjump:

Yes am also anticipating Nevermore (have all their albums, great band!)
But Damnation was chosen in excitement because I am buying it tomorrow after months of hanging for it like no other album!

ok, maybe I exaggerated a little bit. It is hard for me too as I love Opeth, but I realized they overdosed DT's influences... and Deliverance is just worse than e.g. blackwater park But it's of course one of the best metal albs though...
