Dr, Mats E. Eriksson, Associate Professor of Paleontology - Department of Geology at Lund University in Lund, Sweden has sent BW&BK this very interesting MOTÖRHEAD tidbit: "I have just recently named a fossil after Lemmy Kilmister," Eriksson writes. "The perfect combination for a long-time fan of the band (and the music genre) and a professor of paleontology, as myself. So, not only is he already a legend in the music business but his name will have a permanent record in Science. The fossil in question is a c. 428 million year old jaw of an extinct, marine polychaete annelid worm found in the Silurian strata of Gotland, Sweden. Its scientific name is Kalloprion Kilmisteri."

You have to love Motorhead and their fans :worship:
