Motherlove Bone

Great band. I consider the death of Andrew Wood (singer) a major event in the history of rock n roll, because if he had lived and the band had "made it" (they were soooo close) there would have been no Pearl Jam....... and the world would have been a much better place. :) "Shine" and "Apple" are 2 great records in my opinion.

Exactly, had Wood not died that grunge thing might have not happened.
Remember, the guys from Mother Love Bone & Soundgarden got together to do Temple of The Dog as a tribute to Andrew Wood & that was the first Eddie Vedder sighting...
And from there, like you said came Pearl Jam...

I think grunge would have still happened but you would not have all of these suckass singers that sound like Vedder on the radio today. Some times I'm forced to listen to top 40 radio at work and 99.9% of these new guys just copy him.... it's sad since he sucks in the first plays. Just my opinion.

Yep. I heard 'em lots when I lived in those parts and as much as I disliked the grunge thing, I liked MLB. Apple and Shine were excellent. As a bonus, my ex loved to have sex listening to them so any time I wanted some, I would put them on and get fucking carnal!
