No new material. Is there really a market for them, aside from a half assed 80's rock festival? HHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMM....No. Great band but they wouldn't be much of a draw as an opener much less a headliner.
Only in L.A., NYC and Chicago perhaps...
The names Sheehan and Gilbert don't carry that much weight.
Unlike a Vai or Satriani. They only place these guys are still stars are in the Bay Area.
yes they need that and then a tour with bands like extreme or living colour or even dream theater. its s shame everything by these guys was import only towards the late 90's/early 2000's and even now i'm having trouble finding the new live album in stores
For what its worth...vocalist Eric Martin was quoted on melodicrock.com (3/1/10 headlines) stating that once the guys are thru with some solo material obligations...Mr. Big will be back in full force late 2010 and into 2011.
I love the rockin' Mr. Big. Their lightweight FM radio airplay songs make me want to puke, but when this band is on, it full shred ahead!
I'd pay to see them again.....
