Muddy mixes in the car...

Hey guys! I need some help here...

I have some mixes that sound great on my KRK 6, and in my headphones ...
The problem is that when I listen to these mp3 in the car, the sound loses power, and is all wrapped up ... I mostly miss the guitar and voice (mids, therefore).
The strange thing is that on my mp3 player, it sounds fine, even when compared to other songs that I use as reference when mastering.

And I know you guys will ask for a sample, but I can't share it because is from an album that its not out yet, so I appologize for that.

Cut 180hz-250hz on everything except snare. HP kick/bass 25-35hz. Cut bass at 50hz. Did I say cut everything at 180-250hz??
