So I wrote this song a while back and decided to rerecord the whole thing since I had a NGD.

I reamped the guitars using the Kemper and the new Pitchback Studio Profiles. The 8 String Profile in this case.

I love my Km7 almost as much as you (I only have one of them  and no wallpaper of mine). Sounds great! Did you use both for recording or just one? Does the painted one sound different from the other?

Hey man. I recorded with the TBBS (left one) since it's the new one (arrived on wednesday). It's a 2017 model with the refreshed headstock.

I must say the Lambo Orange one is a TINY TINY bit darker sounding and an even tinier amout thinner.

For me the reason would be the full gloss finish and the missing flamed maple veneer. Other than that same weight, almost same feel....

The TBBS is way matte finished. The Lambo neck is way more gloss even though it was matte. Hard to explain, it looks matte but it is gloss. NOT FROM PLAYING. It was glossy right from the beginning.

That has always been my experience with painted guitars and why I generally stay away from them (my hrh8 has the iridescent finish that I couldnt pass on). The high end seems pulled back, but overall oddly hollow. My Km7, Sls7, and Hrh8 have a gloss neck that appears to have been sanded to remove that sticky gloss neck feel. Is that what you are talking about?

Happy new guitar day, man.

Here's what I've got so far. First time for me using Perfect Drums. I admit that I used your mix as a reference and tried to get somewhat close to it. I just got some Adam S1X monitors and good god your mix sounds insanely awesome on them. It has a sheen like I've never heard before. Hey I've never done FX like risers and bass drops like you have in your mix. Is there any way I can have those? I'm still trying to learn as much as I can. Thanks.

Cool I just found some really cool ones. Hey I've been considering buying a Kemper or even the AxeFxIII but this mix I just did of your song I used TseX50 and it sounds pretty much exactly the same and with a little more Eq it could sound better. Is the Kemper worth it if I dont play shows and just do home recording and mixing?
