There's a good chance I might end up living in Japan next year, for a year or two, however I haven't yet decided where I'll be placed. Anyway, aside from the Japanese language my main interest in life is music, and having heard/seen plenty of heavy or experimental Japanese bands from a number of genres (eg Unholy Grave, Numb, Sun's Owl, Boris, Merzbow, Sigh, Church Of Misery, etc) I'd be keen to know as to which cities in Japan have an active live scene for heavy music, as it could very well sway my decision on where I'll be living.
