Generation X aside, I've pretty much always been a fan of metal.
Lately its been getting heavier too, as I hunt out new bands I've never heard of before or ones I have but never really listen to before. I've even started working on writing some really bad lyrics for a fictional band character of mine, Rocking Horse.
I do have a few bands I particularly like that I can name off the top of my head. Alestorm, Kiss, Nightwish, AC/DC and more. Some other bands there are certain songs of theirs I like, but the rest of the music doesn't flow, either its too harsh or too soft.
